Client Spotlight: 3D Printing in Hawaii's Public Schools

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center’s 2008 Power of Pathways conference is a two-day statewide conference that was featured on KGMB-9 news. Dr. Karla Jones, State Director of the CTE branch of the Hawaii Department of Education, talks about CTE-s role of developing the practical skills of Hawaii’s future workforce by linking business and industry with education. 3D printing is one of the highlighted curriculum of the conference. Russ Ogi of RAPID Technology LLC explains the 3D printing process.

Kaaawasaki Productions LLC is in development of a Sci-Fi Action Drama “Dragonfly”. RAPID Technology assists in the development of full-scale, wearable costume armor for the show. The article was featured in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and in the “news” section of ZCorp’s national site.

Client Spotlight: Oceanit's Sense Through Walls Technology

In a KGMB-9 news spot, Honolulu engineering company, Oceanit, presents a technology they developed that will allow soldiers and rescue workers the ability to detect the presence of people through walls. Oceanit, with the help of RAPID Technology’s prototyping capability, was able to develop and test early stage design concepts.
